Not safe!
Products like these force you to place the chest buckle WAY too low, making the baby very likely to be ejected from the seat in an accident.

Great! …and, by the way, not just for carseat straps.
I use these on my daughter’s stroller, high chair, and front pack carrier to keep the straps from rubbing on her little neck. They’re not JUST for carseats.

These are perfectly safe if you buckle up your kids fine normally
These are excellent, basically the baby equivalent of those lamb skin over-the-shoulder covers for adult seat belts.
